Sharing Smiles/Groans at work
(Oh, I don’t blame you know if you groan or just shake your head, I’ll be first to admit they are not the greatest.)
Representative…I need 10 minutes to reboot my pc it’s all frozen up.
Me….Well you could try using a hair dryer or space heater.
Representative….My pc has puked all over me.
Me…Well I can see why you need sometime. You have to get some handy wipes or paper towels to clean that up.
Representative….My pc just crashed on me.
Me…..Ouch I guess we will have to become a Hard Hat area.
Representative….My pc has frozen on me can I get some time.
Me…(keep in mind this was in Summer)…..Wow, you’d think with how hot it is outside nothing would freeze up unless the A/C by you is on Icebox setting.
Representative…..My pc is not working and I’m out to throw it out the window.
Me….Well make sure to look before you toss, and I’d have your stuff packed for when the police arrive.
Representative…..My computer just stopped working on me.
Me….Oh I hope it’s not a start of a pc strike and they are doing a work stoppage.
Oh if you’ve made it this far here is the last one I’m sharing, and I wish I could say saved the best for last but all of them are random.
Representative…I need some time to call the help desk as my pc is making weird noises.
Me….Well, the power little hamster running it must need to be changed out sounds like he’s running on his last legs.

Obituary/Visitation for things Common
I have just returned home from attending a Funeral I never thought I’d see. I was saddened to read the obituary and find out that Common Sense and Common Courtesy had been laid to rest. I want to share some of that obituary notice with you and the fact there is a month long visitation.
In this month of February in the year 2009 there will be a month long visitation for one Common Sense and Common Courtesy.
Common Sense is defined as, sound practical judgment that is independent of specialize knowledge, training or the like. The problem is people have been lacking in this and a few examples of the type of things that lead to its demise follows.
There are people who order Hot beverages and after spilling it on their person sue those who sold it because it was to Hot. Common Sense told these people not to rush and to use holders for the cup but they did not listen.
People who choose to purchase items then cannot afford and wonder why they are deep in debt and cannot pay bills. Common Sense tried to warn them to not spend outside of their means.
People will receive a letter or email promising them thousands if not millions for helping someone in another land transfer millions of dollars. Common sense says don’t do it when something like this sounds to good to be true. They don’t listen and loose their money.
Common Courtesy has taken the brunt of the failings in the world and has been dying in extreme pain for decades. It is believed that the digital age played a key role in its demise.
Common Courtesy, well courtesy, is defined as, excellence of manners or social conduct; polite behavior. In this instance as the digital age has grown and says like, “it’s all about me” have become prevalent courtesy has faded. As in Common Sense some of the causes of its death are listed below.
People walking by men beating up another man and as he lays there dying no one lends a hand or calls police till it is too late.
People who will cut in front of you at the store, or any other place, just to be that little bit faster to get out of there.
People who instead of saying please and thank you would rather cuss you out when they need assistance.
